I’m Carys Wynn, Founder and Director of Taliska-Wynn and my passion is creating the best possible people experience through outstanding internal communications and enhancing reputation through bespoke, targeted PR.

I have twenty plus years’ experience in communications, having started out in PR and fundraising, moving into marketing and onto public policy and public affairs resulting in some incredible experience in crisis management. Most recently, I find myself at home in programme, change and transformation communications.  I have a talent for raising engagement levels, even during adverse times of change – both internally and externally.

Having carried out a number of communications business partnering roles, particularly in the financial and public sectors, and working with multiple clients agency side, I’m passionate about managing stakeholders by building trust, promoting transparency, managing expectations and adding value. I understand what’s important to stakeholders at all levels. This attention to detail allows for the smoothest and most productive transition periods during times of change as well as building colleague commitment and buy-in to organisational vision and values.

Always looking to build on my skillset, I’m never shy of tactical and creative assignments and have led on a number of rebranding, web and intranet redevelopment projects on a freelance basis too.

I’m an accredited member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), currently working towards a fellowship, and I’m also a member of the Institute of Internal Communication. I have a BA Honours degree in PR with European Languages, a MSc in European Public Policy and International Campaigns, a CIPR professional Diploma in Public Relations from Cambridge Marketing Colleges and a Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Diploma in Leadership and Change. Understanding what a profound impact psychology can have on communication at all levels, I’m also completing an additional MSc in Psychology, Mental Health and Wellbeing.
